Stocks are closing broadly higher on Wall Street, giving the market its first three-day winning streak since late November, the AP reports. Technology, health care and industrial stocks led the way higher Tuesday. Energy companies also did well as the price of crude oil rose for the seventh day in a row. Newfield Exploration rose 3.6%. AutoNation slumped 3.9% after predicting a tough year for auto sales and announcing a restructuring. The S&P 500 index rose 24 points, or 1%, to 2,574. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 256 points, or 1.1%, to 23,787. The Nasdaq rose 73 points, or 1.1%, to 6,897. (More stock market stories.)
