The 340,000 people who sent their cash to one of GoFundMe's top fundraisers ever will be getting a refund. As Mashable reports, Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage's campaign to privately fund President Trump's border wall racked up $20 million—a giant sum by the site's standards, but well short of Kolfage's goal of $1 billion, triggering the refunds. That's not the end of the story, though, as Kolfage says he's pushing ahead and has founded a nonprofit called We Build the Wall Inc. Donors can either accept their refunds, or redirect their money to Kolfage's nonprofit.

"Our highly experienced team is highly confident that we can complete significant segments of the wall in less time, and for far less money, than the federal government," says Kolfage in an update, "while meeting or exceeding all required regulatory, engineering, and environmental specifications." We Build the Wall's advisory board includes retired Air Force Brigadier General Robert Spalding III, ex-politicians Tom Tancredo and Kris Kobach, Fox News contributor Sara Carter, and former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince.
