It's never a bad time to win the lottery, but a Virginia woman's lucky ticket arrived at an especially good moment. Carrie Walls' scratch-off ticket won $100,000 and an SUV in a state contest, and Walls' husband just happens to be one of the federal employees who has been furloughed without pay during the government shutdown, reports USA Today. "I cried, I couldn't believe it," says Walls, herself an Air Force veteran. Her husband's job and name were not revealed. So what now? The family is going to Disney World, of course, reports NBC Washington. (More uplifting news stories.)
