If you're going to be a peeping Tom, a) don't, and b) definitely don't outside an ex-NFL player's house. WPBF reports on exactly that situation at the Florida home of Tony Beckham, who used to play for the Detroit Lions. The former defensive back says he was leaving his Wellington abode at around 6:40am Monday when he spotted a man hovering near the window of his teen daughter's bedroom; the Detroit Free Press notes the girl had just come out of the shower. Beckham says the man's pants were partly down and it looked like he was masturbating as he peered in the window. "I couldn't believe it," he tells WPBF. "I thought I was getting 'Punk'd.'" The man fled when Beckham yelled at him, but the 40-year-old athlete soon caught up to him.

Beckham says when they came face-to-face, they had a "good conversation" before cops showed up to make an arrest. Meanwhile, the mug shot of the suspect, identified as 48-year-old Geoffrey Cassidy, shows him with a cut lip, a bruised face, and a black eye; WPBF notes he was left with "multiple broken bones in his face." Beckham told police he "did only what was necessary" to detain Cassidy, per HuffPost. Cassidy, meanwhile, told cops his car had broken down and he was simply walking around while waiting for it to cool down, WPLG reports. Cassidy has been charged with lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim younger than 16 years old and is being held in Palm Beach County Jail on a $1,500 bond. Beckham's wife has since ripped down the old blinds in their home and put up darker ones that make it harder to see inside. (More peeping tom stories.)
