Clarence Thomas 'Obsessed With Porn': Ex

Ginni Thomas must be wishing she’d never extended that “olive branch” to Anita Hill: Clarence Thomas’s ex, who first spoke out Wednesday, is back—with a lot more to say about the Supreme Court justice. Hill’s allegations that Thomas made sexual advances toward her come as no surprise to Lillian McEwen: “He was always actively watching the women he worked with to see if they could be potential partners. It was a hobby of his,” she says, adding that Thomas particularly liked women with large breasts—and admitted to McEwen that he once asked a co-worker her bra size.

Nor is McEwen surprised that Hill claimed Thomas often referred to hardcore porn: “He was obsessed with porn,” she tells the Washington Post. Though McEwen didn’t testify at Thomas’s confirmation hearings, she was referenced by his handlers as a woman with whom he’d had a steady relationship—as a way of refuting Hill’s allegations. She is coming forward now, 19 years later, in part to counter the “different reality” she says Thomas has “manufactured” for himself since the Hill scandal—and in part to drum up interest in her memoir, which she is shopping to publishers.
