It's a sales metric achieved only twice before—by the Beatles in 1969 and the Monkees in 1967—making Boyle the first woman to pull it off. The new album is The Gift, following up on her earlier I Dreamed a Dream. The honor will likely be short-lived, however, notes the Guardian.
