(AP Photo/Mike Groll) Just before her death, a mother who drowned herself and her children used her BlackBerry to update her Facebook status. It read: “I'm sorry everyone forgive me please for what I'm gonna do…This is it!!!" Less than half an hour later, Lashanda Armstrong drove off a pier into the Hudson River, reports Adrian Chen for Gawker. "As with so many tragedies these days, the banality of Armstrong's farewell status update makes her choice that much more incomprehensible," writes Chen. The Wall Street Journal reports that Armstrong's family had noticed signs of paranoia lately; she reportedly believed she was being watched, and claimed pages had gone missing from her diary.
