Yemen's president is refusing to personally sign the deal that would end that country's political crisis, reports the AP, potentially indicating its collapse. A rep of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council, which brokered the agreement that would have Ali Abdullah Saleh step down within 30 days, said that Saleh late yesterday requested that a senior aide represent him in the signing ceremony, which was slated for tomorrow or Monday. The AP notes that Yemeni opposition parties have said they won't sign if Saleh doesn't.
