New Jersey dropped its sixth straight game last night, crumbling 102-75 in Utah, the AP reports. Deron Williams surged to 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting for the Jazz, and Eddie Gill's 10 consecutive points were his first this season. Richard Jefferson carried the Nets with 22 points, but Jason Kidd put up only two points with eight assists.

Meanwhile in Memphis, the Sonics were playing down to their 2-10 record as the Grizzlies rode Stromile Swift's 24 points to a 125-108 victory. Four of Seattle's starters had 11 points each, and sixth man Delonte West sank all three of the team's 3-pointers. With the win, Memphis improved to 3-7.
