Trump: I Might Still Run for President

Say it ain't so: Fans of Celebrity Apprentice heaved a collective sigh of relief when Donald Trump said he would not be running for president in 2012, but now the business mogul says he may very well jump back into the race. “It was not an easy decision for me [to drop out], but I think that it will be an easy decision [to return] if the Republicans choose the wrong candidate and if the economy is bad. I think it will be a really easy decision for me to make,” he tells the Christian Science Monitor.

Trump hinted—as he has before—he would return to the race as an independent. And of course, any announcement about a presidential run would be made on the next season of The Apprentice. Trump says there was "incredible" pressure for him to announce a campaign during the last season: "They just wanted me to do it so badly." And if he does end up running, he thinks his "celebrity status would greatly help" his chances. Tell that to the 53% of the GOP who held a negative opinion of him in the last poll he appeared in.
