His fumble on the opening snap was his only gaffe, and even his opposite number conceded he was "the greatest ever." Detroit was once 6-2 and on pace for the playoffs; now, three straight losses have dealt a severe blow to their ability to stay in playoff contention. Favre, who reserved his excitement for an ice cream sandwich after the press conference, explained, "I threw it. They caught it. Nothing spectacular."
