What a find: After receiving a tip yesterday, Harbor Patrol agents in California pulled about 160 bales of marijuana from the ocean off the coast of Orange County. That's more than 7,263 pounds, and agents say the street value is $3.6 million, CBS 2 reports. The marijuana, which was floating at least 15 miles off shore with no boat in sight, was turned over to US Border Patrol. The investigation into how exactly it got there is continuing, the Orange County Register reports. A Border Patrol rep calls the situation an odd one, noting that bales are usually dumped by boats that are being chased. (More marijuana stories.)
