(AP Photo/Michael Dwyer) (Associated Press) Boston avenged one of its season's three losses with a home drubbing of swooning Orlando, 103-91. The surprise was the offense provided by second-year point guard Rajon Rondo, who hit a rare pair of treys en route to 23 points, tying his career high. He was one of four Celts to top twenty points. The other three are easier to guess. Boston's bigs sent Dwight Howard repeatedly to the line, where he struggled mightily, going 5-for-16. Orlando cut what was a 20-point third-quarter lead to nine midway through the fourth, but came no closer. At 22 wins, Boston is now within two of its total for all of last season.
