(AP Photo/Charles Dharapak) President Obama may have thought his first debate went OK at first, but now he, too, is criticizing his own performance. The Huffington Post picks up on an interview he gave this morning to Tom Joyner: "I think it’s fair to say I was just too polite." "But, you know, the good news is, is that’s just the first one. Governor Romney put forward a whole bunch of stuff that either involved him running away from positions that he had taken, or doubling down on things like Medicare vouchers that are going to hurt him long run." "And, you know, I think it’s fair to say that we will see a little more activity at the next one." Sounds like fightin' words, which might help Democrats starting to feel what Politico describes as a state of "angst." Read These Next Fed's Jerome Powell usually holds his fire. But no more.
