(AP Photo/Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, FIle) The teenage education advocate shot in the head by the Taliban in Pakistan last year will have what doctors hope is her final surgery in the recovery process. Surgeons will give Malala Yousufzai a titanium patch for her skull, along with a cochlear implant to assist her hearing in one ear, reports the Guardian. The teen is said to be doing well and on her way to a full recovery. "She's very lively," says one of her doctors at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Britain. "She's got a great sense of humor." Doctors opted to go with the titanium patch instead of using a portion of Malala's own skull that was removed last year. As a result, Malala has asked for a piece of the original as a souvenir, reports CNN. Read These Next Utah's governor asks a tough question after Kirk shooting.
