Mayer, who was jumped on for ending Yahoo's work-at-home policy and was particularly criticized by work-at-home moms, is the perfect example of women not supporting other successful women, Sandberg notes. "I think flexibility is important for women and for men. But there are some jobs that are superflexible and some that aren't," she says, adding that if Mayer was a man, she wouldn't have been nearly so attacked for the move.
