(AP Photo/Tamir Kalifa) Wendy Davis fans might want to look away: It turns out that more Americans support the 20-week abortion ban she filibustered than oppose it. In a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, 44% said they supported the limit, while 37% opposed. Even among people who described themselves as pro-choice, nearly one in five were fine with the ban. But conservatives shouldn't get too cocky. The poll also showed that 52% are worried Republicans will go too far on social issues like abortion and gay rights, compared to 43% who weren't concerned. By contrast, 51% said they were not worried about Democrats going too far on social issues; that number was 55% for President Obama.
