Courtroom sadness: "Mother to mother, I apologize."—Mary O'Callaghan, LAPD cop, addressing in court to the mother of a woman who died after being beaten by O'Callaghan. The officer was sentenced to three years. Feud over: "I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke.
