Its $45.1 million draw is the fifth-highest for a G-rated animated flick ever and the fourth-biggest March opener. “It played to whos from ages 2 to 92,” said an exec at Twentieth Century Fox, which produced the film. Last week’s number one, 10,000 BC, fell to second with $16.4 million, while martial arts movie Never Back Down kicked into third with $8.61 million. Family flick College Road Trip slid from second to fourth at $7.89 million and killer thriller Vantage Point fired into fifth with $5.4 million, Bloomberg reports.
