Ashley Walker led third-seeded California to its first NCAA women's tournament win in 15 years today as the Golden Bears downed San Diego, 77-60, reports the Associated Press. Walker dominated the inside with 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Devanei Hampton also had 22 points. Cal (27-6) led by 20 at halftime. In other women's action:

  • Mallorie Winn hit a 3-pointer with 2:27 remaining to give sixth-seeded Pittsburgh the lead for a good in a 63-58 win over Wyoming. The game had 12 ties and 10 lead changes before Winn's shot. Shavonte Zellous scored 21 points and  Sophronia Sallard had 15 for the Panthers (23-10).
