Before the American strikes, Iran warned that it would retaliate if they materialized, reports the BBC. Its analysis notes that Tehran is still capable of inflicting "a considerable amount of damage" despite enduring devastating attacks on its military bases by Israel. One possible target is the US Navy's 5th Fleet in Bahrain. Another is the Strait of Hormuz, a vital supply route for the world's oil.
