Madonna Wants to Direct— Just Like Estranged Hubby

Madonna may have found a new way to stick it to soon-to-be ex Guy Ritchie, the UK Sun reports. The Material Girl plans to become a major-film director—just like Ritchie. Her brother says she will move to New York from London with the kids to pursue her new goal. Madonna directed one low-budget film this year, Filth and Wisdom, and liked it so much she wants to try her hand on a grander scale.

“Apparently she wants to be directing and that’s what she’ll be doing," said Christopher Ciccone. "Two directors in the family is never going to work.” Ciccone, no fan of Ritchie's, said the estranged hubby is bitter because he's had a string of flops. “Her career continues up whereas his career has dropped off.” (More Madonna stories.)
