Judge Stephen Robinson called Kerik "arrogant" and his explanations a "sham" during today's hearing, notes WNBC. "I can't trust Mr. Kerik." He added: "My fear, however, is that he has a toxic combination of self-minded focus and arrogance. And I fear this combination leads him to believe his ends justify the means." Jury selection begins Monday in the trial, in which Kerik is accused of accepting apartment renovations from a construction company, and then recommending the company for city contracts.
