The so-called White House party crashers gave their first interview today, telling the Today Show that they are cooperating with the Secret Service and the case will soon take a dramatic turn. "We did not party crash the White House," says Tareq Salahi. "The truth will soon come out." Michaele adds, "We were invited, not crashers. There isn't anyone that would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that, certainly not us."

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs also chimed in, telling Meredith Vieira, "They were not on a list here at the White House. They’d been told on a number of occasions that they did not have tickets for that dinner."
