A source confirms Woods is indeed in Mississippi’s Pine Grove/Gentle Path program, which Denizet-Lewis visited while researching a book—so he knows that the program will require Woods, for example, to sign a “celibacy contract” that includes a clause prohibiting masturbation. More insider details: Wife Elin Nordegren will spend time in treatment with Tiger if they’re “serious about repairing the marriage”; Woods will likely have to write an “empathy letter” to Nordegren—and read it aloud (most addicts’ letters are “not nearly empathetic enough,” Denizet-Lewis writes).
