The appropriately-named Marc Webb, best known for directing recent indie romance (500) Days of Summer, has signed on to helm Sony’s 2012 relaunch of the franchise, Variety reports. Still unknown is who will replace Tobey Maguire in the title role—Robert Pattinson, of Twilight fame, is one rumored possibility.
