Joiner becomes the eighth Florida player since April to become entangled in legal trouble. The owner of the car lot, however, believes the incident involving Joiner was a misunderstanding. The owner, a Gators fan, said a late-night employee was out getting food when Joiner arrived to collect the car. Joiner decided to take the car and return to pay later. "This kid should not have been arrested. That's just crazy," he said. But a police spokesman explained: "When you attempt to move a car that is impounded it's burglary."
