Pavely) Pittsburgh police had to reroute the end of the city's marathon this morning after they discovered a "suspicious explosive device" inside a microwave oven, reports the Post-Gazette. They safely detonated the device with a robot. The incident comes with headlines of yesterday's Times Square bomb square still fresh. Pittsburgh cops were reviewing surveillance tapes to see if they could determine who placed the microwave on a city sidewalk. They released few details of what was inside, saying only that X-rays revealed contents "that were definitely questionable and highly suspicious."
