Roman Polanski Handcuffed, Raped Me: Ex-Model

Now that Roman Polanski is free in Switzerland, another victim is coming forward—and this one claims she was “anally raped repeatedly” by the director in 1974. Former model Edith Vogelhut, at the time a 21-year-old Glamour magazine editor, tells Radar it started when she met Polanski at a 1974 dinner party also attended by stars like Warren Beatty. Polanski took her to Jack Nicholson’s house, where she “kind of knew we were going to have sex,” but “did not expect to be sodomized.”

“I see this naked Roman Polanski walking to me with these two brandies,” she says, adding that they also smoked pot and he gave her Ecstasy…before handcuffing her. “He grabs me by the hair, jerks my head up, snaps amyl nitrate under my nose, and enters me anally,” says Vogelhut. “I hurt. This was rape.” Vogelhut says she was prompted to come forward after Charlotte Lewis made similar claims in May...and perhaps because she's planning to release a tell-all about the encounter?
